Did you know that the average age of a person playing 18's USTA tennis is 51 years old (up from 49 a year ago)? The ATA endeavors to engage kids in tennis at an early age by providing affordable junior clinics, starting after school programs at Isaac Dickson and the YWCA, providing free tennis instruction at Eliada, providing summer clinics to any Buncombe/Asheville high school player and providing support to middle school tennis in Buncombe County.

In order to continue our endeavors, the ATA relies heavily on volunteers.  We are grateful to numerous community members who have chosen to be part of something bigger than themselves.  Take a glance at our volunteer opportunities, join our team and get on our volunteer wall of fame!
